We believe in the power of experiential learning and therefore we adopt the adult learning principles in designing our training program. We appreciate that the Adult Learners are goal oriented with little time and finite capacity to absorb information. We limit lecture time for delivering information to allow a free exchange of ideas, and vary the presentation. This provides an engaging environment and ensure that different learning styles are considered. We give participants frequent breaks during a lengthy training session so they have opportunities to attend to their needs and get a mental break. The information about adult learning principle make it clear that training is not teaching. TSL learning experience differs greatly from most academic experiences and is more targeted and practical.
